Realizations on a Bridge

there’s not a lot to me
that’s the secret
That’s the key
Kites in the sky are often shyer
than Id like to be

I’d like to be easy..
to make it last,
get off scot-free
to make hold fast a tie
that wasn’t tied so tightly
when I tried to tie it last time..
But I’ve never been
polite about these pastimes
